  • Item 19Deck 9 Lido

At the dessert counter, the glass display case for yogurt and smoothies had an excess amount of condensation forming on the inside, top area of the unit. Additionally, water was dripping onto the shelves below. Stored in the unit at the time of the inspection was five open-top-glasses of smoothie, six yogurt containers with lids, and four open-top-glasses of tomato juice. It was difficult for staff and the inspector to see if water had dripped into the open-top glass smoothies or tomato juice. Additionally, the top of the yogurt lids were soiled with water. The smoothies, tomato juice and yogurt were discarded during the inspection. Staff stated it is difficult to keep the unit from collecting condensation due to the placement of the cooling unit in proximity to the outside pool deck area.
